Bae
graduated from Dan Kook University in Korea with his bachelor’s degree in
Japanese Literature, and received his second bachelor’s degree in Marketing at
the University of Utah. He
was a student-athlete in Korea playing basketball at Dan Kook University (e.g.,
Division I) and received a
full athletic scholarship
for four years. Earning a master’s degree in Sport Administration and
Facility Management at
Ohio University, Bae moved
on to earn his doctorate in
Sport Management at
prestigious Indiana University. He has been
teaching Sport Marketing,
Managing the Sport Enterprise,
Basketball, Golf, and Volleyball at Indiana University as an
associate/adjunct instructor.
Now, he is also joined forces with Basketball Beyond Borders and taken a position as the managing director of B3 in Korea, representing some American players to help them carve out a career in the very competitive Korean basketball market.
