Outlook
basketball trainingAn excellent post player all around. Has solid moves going over both right and left shoulder but prefers the left. Possesses a soft touch.  Uses the backboard very efficiently from all angles. Extremely effective in pick and roll situations because he can immediately read the defense and turn it into a pick and pop. Can also step out to 18 feet and knock down open jumpers consistently all the way to 3 point line.  Finishes strong around the basket.  A very capable dunker and goes up strong to finish inside.  Works very hard on defense as well as on offense.  Not a natural shot blocker but will be a presence in the middle with his size and positioning and will alter shots.  Is not a selfish player and works within a system with his teammates.  Very coach-able and has great winners attitude.  Runs the floor incredibly well for a center his size. Has a wide body and can hold position in post or setting big screens for team mates to get open.  Will not back down from anyone and above and beyond will always compete.

Career

basketball training

2010-11: Signed with Blois of National 1 in France.

2009-10: Resigned with Sam Massagno in Switzerland.  Lead the team with the highest evaluation total all season despite being 4th on the team in scoring and minutes played showing just how valuable he was all around.  He was ranked 7th in the entire league in MVP evaluation on the season.  Posted a season high 14 rebs on two occassions vs  MGS and BC Boncourt (12/19/09 and 3/21/10).

Scored a season high 23 pts vs Geneva 11/22/09.  For his great efforts this season he was  named All Eurobasket Switerland LNA All Star and also Eurobasket Swiss Center of the year for 2009-10.

2008-09:

Signed wtih Sam Massagno in Switzerland and enjoyed his best season yet in Switzerland posting some pretty impressive numbers for the first division LNA squad.  Was ranked 1st in the league in rebounding with 10.7rpg which combined with his 16.8ppg showed a strong double double and was the only player on the season to record a double double all season long.  Led his own team in rebounding and was 2nd on the team in scoring as well.  Scored a season high 23 pts vs the Starwings on 9/11/2008.  Grabbed a season high 15rebs on two separate occasions.  Had a dominant interior showing of 22pts and 13rebs against league powerhouse Fribourg on 15/11/2008.  In that game he also shot 10-15 FG which resulted in game evaluation of 35 which was on of the highest in the league all season.

2007-08:

Had another solid campaign for Sion Herens which was a very well balanced LNA side.  They had such depth and balance that Chris found himself almost more in a role player's position playing only 27mpg.  In that time he contributed 8.2ppg and 6.4rpg.  Considering he only averaged about 6 shots per game it is quite an accomplishment.  The team was VERY perimeter oriented and that made it difficult to really assert himself inside.

2006-07:

Signed with the Lugano Tigers out of college and showed his all around game.  Averaged 12.8ppg and a team best 8.8rpg which was also good for 4th in the league.  A great starting point for Chris as he fit in flawlessly and took his team all the way to the league championship!  After a hard fought series they bowed out in the 4th game of a best of 5 closely contested series.  His success and hard work did not go unoticed as he was named to the Eurobasket All-Switzerland Honorable mention squad for this season.
