2009-10: Signed with the Saudi side Al Naser and had a great personal season. Recorded career highs in all categories by basically having to do everything and anything for his team to win. Finished as the leading scorer in the league and also ranked 5th in rebounding. Was an offensive juggernaut and routinely saw triple teams to slow him down.
2008-09: Resigned with Tjolia. Desean is the key to the team and as he goes the team goes. A great overall season saw Desean post lower numbers on a more talented team. The coach felt that playing a bigger rotation would be the best strategy but the team's success is linked to Desean on court. When playing a lot of minutes Desean totally dominates the game. Witness his last games of the season...he was twice voted LEB Bronze MVP of the week for outstanding performances. On 8/4/09 Desean stepped up vs Molina to knock in 27pts, 11rebs and 3 assists and lead his team to an important victory. That result saw him record a single game evaluation of 44. On 24/4/09 Desean recorded 38pts, (9-14FG, 4-6 3pt), 9rebs and 4 steals while helping his team to the win to secure 2nd place. As a result he ended the game with another index record of 44! Had he played these minutes all season he would most likely have been in a fight for the honor of MVP of the league. Took his team to the Final Four playoff round.
2007-08: Signed with Tjolia of Spain LEB Bronze in January '08. The team was second to last and as soon as Desean joined the team, immediate success. The team won 4 of the next 6 games and the wins kept piling up. At season's end they were in no trouble of relegation and DeSean was the undoubted leader of the team posting better than 14ppg, while also showing up with 5.5rpg. One of his great strengths is his all around game....posted a season high against league powerhouse Guadalahajra with 33pts and 6 assists.
2006-07: Started in the NBDL with the Sioux Falls. After finding a log jam in the back court with several other players DeSean moved over to the Idaho Stampede where he emerged at the end of the season with several strong games. . 2005-06: Selected as a member of the New Orleans Hornets summer league roster and competed in Vegas where he was able to chip in 2.3ppg in only 6mpg of playing time. On the back on these performances he was able to move to the prestigious team Galatasary Cafecrown of the top league in Turkey. He played the entire season there but found his role on the team one of the defensive stopper and did not have any opportunity to showcase his offensive skills. Still did averaged 7ppg and 6rpg in under 20mpg of playing time.
2004-05: Captured the championship!! A great year for the CBA team Sioux Falls while DeSean also contributed 17ppg and 6rpg and connected on 38% from the 3pt line . After such a great season it because sweeter as DeSean signed on with Rio Breogan of the ACB in Spain where he stopped in for 3 games and averaged 5.3ppg and 2.3 rpg.
2003-04: After not signing with APOEL Nicosia of Cyprus DeSean returned to the USA and signed on with the Idaho Stampede of the CBA. Had a great season averaging 17.7ppg, 4.2apg, 1.4apg. Was named to the All League team and also won the prestigious Defensive player of the year award. Then moved to Italy and linked up with Sicc Jesi of the A2 league and proceeded to win a championship.
2002-03: Signed with the Great Lakes Storm CBA and was named to the All League team and also won the CBA regular season title.
2001-02: Signed with the Flint Fuze of the CBA and was named to the CBA All rookie team while contributing 9ppg+5rpg.
1999-2001: Eastern Michigan - NCAA1
1997-1999: Sinclair Community College - JUCO In his freshman year he was an all American honorable mention while averaging 12pts and 6.2rpg. In his sophomore year he broke out with a near tripe double: 19.2ppg, 10.4rpg and 7.9apg. For this he was named All conference, All Region, First team All American and named the National Juco Player of the year.
