Outlook
A huge shooting guard.  He can be spectacular at the offensive end as he has great range on his shot and can REALLY be effective behind the arc.  A great athlete he can run and jump with the best of them.  Technically sound on his shot, he is a match up nightmare for most teams.  Able to shoot over most shooting guards and can post up smaller guards as well.  Runs the floor very well and can be so effective in a wide open style of play.  A very accurate deep threat he has a career shooting % from the 3pt line better than 40%.  Defensively can contribute in a variety of ways and even can get in the lane and block shots because of his superior size.  Has really worked on muscling up and has improved his upper body strength greatly.

Career

2009-10:  Signed with BC Boncourt of the LNA top league in Switzerland.  Started the season off in great shape looking to have a breakout season and was certainly enjoying his hard off season work.  Recorded a season high of 27pts vs the Starwings on 28/10/09 on 5-10 shooting from the 3pt line.  Snatched a season high 11 rebounds from Lugano on 9/1/10.  Showed improvement each week in every aspect of his game and was headed for a season of personal bests before severely straining some ligaments in his ankle which took him out for the rest of the season.  Douglas is looking to come back as strong as ever next season and show that the early results of this season where spot on!  Despite and early end to his season he was not forgotten as at the end of the season he was voted to the Switzerland LNA Eurobasket All-Bosman first team.  A great accomplishment in his limited action.

2008-09:  Signed with the Worcester Wolves in Feb '09 in the BBLFinished up all his academic commitments in the USA before joining a team this season.  At first the team asked him to even run the point which he did but after some games when they realized his ability to score he really started seeing offensive opportunities.  Had a great weekend to end the season in back to back games.  Had a season high 25pts to go with 4rebs, 2ass, 2stls and a block vs top 4 team Leicester Riders on 4/18/2009.  Shot an amazing 5-12 from the 3pt line in that game.  Just after that Douglas again showed his deadly accuracy by going 3-6 vs the Sheffield Sharks and recording 17pts in another productive game which saw him play only 23 minutes!

2007-08: Signed at Fribourg in Switzerland LNA and made a great impact as the first guard off the bench.  Helped Fribourg win the Swiss league again and also had several standout performances in the league and in the ULEB as well.  Had 9pts and 3rebs vs Triumph(RUS) in 19min off the bench in the ULEB to seal a stunning upset from the Russian side.

Had 15pts along with 2rebs and 2stls vs Austrian powerhouse Gmunden.

2006-07: SIGNED AT INCA - SPAIN LEB1.  Saw limited playing time on a vet team packed with talent.  When he did get minutes he showed what he was capable of with flashes of brilliance.

Played in all 29 games......led the SAC  in FT% (.874).... finished second on the team in scoring and first in rebounding ....career high 15 rebounds vs Bowie st (March 12)......raised his average to 17.7ppg in the SAC tournament....named SAC player of the week in Feb for scoring 56pt in two games vs Carson-Newman and Newbury.  Named to the SAC All-tournament team to end a brilliant season.
