Outlook
A player possessing an extremely high basketball IQ.  Swings easily into the role of scoring guard if he has too and has great offensive ability.    Possesses deep range out to the NBA three point line.  Eddy is a tireless worker who  leads by example.  Made quite a rep at college of being a great organizer.  Will often be looked upon to  shut down the opposing team's best backcourt player.   Creates well and causes real trouble for opposing teams when he gets into the lane and is able to make decisions for easy buckets.   A very good passer and all around player.  Great in a 40 minute pressing style defensive where he can apply constant pressure on the ball and never let teams breathe.  A fantastic defender that causes ALL sorts of problems in the passing lane as witnessed by the fact that he constantly is a league leader in steals.

Career

2010-11: Signed with Mures of the top league in Romania competing also in the Balkan League.

2009-10: Signed with Ramat Gan as an injury replacement player.  Played 5 games in Israel and really opened some eyes.  Scored a then season high of 14pts and dished out 6assists vs Israeli powerhouse Hapoel Jerusalem (12/6/09).  Only played 5 minutes in the final game and that reduced his average to 9.2ppg.   Moved to Salgotarjan in Hungary where he established himself as perhaps the best PG in the country.  Scored a whopping 40pts outside of the regular season in the Hungarian cup vs Dombovar.  Recorded season highs of 24pts on two occasions vs Marso - Vagep and Kecskemeti (3/13/10 and 3/20/10).  Dished 8 assists in that same game vs Marso - Vagep.  Fisnished 1st on the team in scoring among the league leaders at 9th in scoring (18ppg) and 8th in assists (4.6apg).

2008-09:  Signed with Etha in Cyprus.  The team immediately experience financial problems and was forced to release several Americans but kept Eddy as they felt he was the focal pt for the team.  Ranked 5th in the league in assists with 4apg and also broke in the top 5 in steals recording 1.5 thefts per game.  Was 3rd on the team in scoring but when called upon stepped up huge as he did against league Champions Keravnos when he recorded 17pts on 3-3 3pt shots to go along with 5 rebs and 4 assists in a huge upset victory during league play.  Led the team into post season play despite some tough times financially within the club.

2007-08: Signed at BC Odessa in Ukraine and quickly established himself as one of the premiere guards in the league.  Odessa went through various coaching changes during the season and also brought in 2 different general managers.  Despite that Eddy kept his focus and was a steadying influence for the entire team.  Amidst all the controversy by league's end Eddy  was named to the all defensive team and led the league in assists.

2006-07:  Had a great campaign to lead the Kings to capture the title of the Continental Basketball Association.  For his efforts he was named the MVP of the CBA Championship series.  A series which saw Yakima defeat the Albany Patroons.  In the final game Barlow posted a fantastic effort with 25pts, 4 rebs, 4assists while connecting on 2 of 3 from long distance.  One of 6 starters that ALL averaged double figures.....6th on the team in scoring at 10.6 points per game.  Second on the team in assists and 7th in the league at 4.4apg.  Showed his long distance touch by recording 45% on the season from the 3pt line, good for another top 10 ranking in the league.

Prior to his return to the CBA he played a portion of the summer in the LNBP in Mexico where he recorded more than 16ppg while again showing his shooting proficiency at better than 43%.

2005-06:

Was brought into the Stampede as a backup but showed his ability to run a team and attracted several coaches with his leadership from the back court.  Played admirably when he was given the opportunity but did not thrive particularly well in a low minute backup role as he had so much more to offer to a team.

2004-05:
First job overseas was in the top league in Germany where Eddy joined TSK Wuerzburg.  The team was strapped with financial problems which trickled down on the court to the players and things finally reached a poor conclusion when the team declared bankruptcy.  At that time Eddy was showing his ability scoring in double figures and dishing out 3apg.
