Outlook
A deadly 3pt marksmen.  Has built his game around his ability to shoot the 3pt shoot.  Has fantastic range beyond the NBA 3pt line.  Has an 'ultra quick' release and can get his shot away in any circumstance.  A very good team player and although is a designated shooter will find open team mates with crisp passing ability.  Rarely misses free throws thus always has the ball in his hands at the end of a close game.  A foul on him is as good as two points.  Played the role of a long distance specialist but has capability to do much more.  Can create his own shot but is much more effective coming off screens or setting up for open looks.  Shoots a very high percentage from the 3pt line.  Has played considerable time out of the PG spot and is comfortable making decisions at high speed and setting the table for all his other teammates.

Career

2008-09:  Stayed in the USA this season as his wife was expecting their first child.  Suited up for the Houston Takers of the ABA (a new franchise) only to have the same problems persist there.  The club was only able to survive for 17 games before they went into bankruptcy.

2007-08: Signed with Pedro Echague Capital Federal in Argentina where he immdiately showed his capabilities.  The problem was that the team had 3 coaching changes in the first 3 months which eventually cause Field to return to the USA at Christmas with the team in dissarray.

2006-07:  Played with the Houston Undertakers of the ABA.  The team was susposed to play the season and the hope was to move to the NBDL but soon the players found out mismanagement caused the team to run out of funds before the end of the season.

2005-06:

Captured the Championship in New Zealand with the Mighty Hawks where he lead the team in scoring and was second in assists....lead the team in 3pts taken and made......10th in the league in 3pt %.  Right from the start of the season Field had the team out of the blocks quickly sitting in first place most of the season.  He showed that great players truly set up at crunch time and saved his best for last.  Had a season high in the Championship game with 32pts plus 6rebs on 4-9 shooting from the 3pt line to finally bring the trophy to Hawks Bay.

2004-05:

Played in Germany Regional 3 at Bochum.  Was the leading scorer in the league at better than 24ppg.  After he joined the team in November they lost only one more game all season vaulting up the standings and finishing in 5th.  Just outside of the ability to get promoted to 2Bundesliga.  Scored at will out of either backcourt spot and routinely started at the point.

2003-04:

Was the teams designated 3 pt bomber along with Tony Bobbit. Connected on  an amazing 44% of his shots from beyond the arc to lead the team.  Started on a team that climbed as high as #7 in the national rankings during his senior season.

2002-03:

Was a cornerstone of the Bearcats rise to the top of the Conference USA.  Shot as well from the 3pt line as he did from 2pt range.  Averaged 11.6 pts accounting for most of that from three point bombs from the backcourt.
