Outlook

A BIG body in the lane.  Dominates opponents with sheer size and strength.  Has been recruited by several professional football teams.  Will back down anybody in the block.  Runs the floor extremely well and can jump well.  Finishes strong usually on the end of an alley-oop.  Has a great spin move on the post that is impossible to stop.  Will lead any league he is a member of in rebounding if given average minutes. Can't be boxed out on the offensive glass.  An excellent post defender he causes teammates to be wide open because the opposing team MUST double team him.  If he is one on one in the post he will score or get fouled.  Has a nice touch around the basket and out to the free throw line.  Fundamentally sound with his low post footwork.

2007-08:Stayed with Hamar and again showed his dominance down low.  Again one of the top performers in the rebounding charts and posted a double double every game.  The team struggled because of financial insecurity but George was a steadying influence all season.

2006-07: Resigned with Hamar/Selfoss and dominated the league once again.  Was 2nd in the league in rebounding and ranked in the top 10 in scoring.  He lead his team to a playoff semi-final finish.  At the conclusion of that season he headed immediately to New Zealand to play for the Manawatu Jets who were in desperate need for a big man to shore up their rebounding woes.  George did that immediately posting better than 10rpg and being ranked 2nd in the league.

2006-07:  Signed at Hamar/Selfoss in Iceland, after the 4 first games of the league which saw the team at 0-4.  George quickly came in and asserted his vet leadership.  Immediately turned the teams fortunes around and led them out of the cellar to a playoff birth.  In the process led the club to their first ever Icelandic Cup Finals narrowly loosing in the finals. Again George posted great numbers and was able to record an infamous triple double during the course of the season with 13pts, 11rebs and 12 assists vs Tindastol Feb 8/07. Named Eurobasket 1st team All-Iceland, Eurobasket All-Imports and Eurobasket Center of the Year.  Moved to New Zealand at the conclusion of the season  where he joined Inspire Manawatu Jets.  Posted again a double double with 10.5ppg and 10.5rpg, which was good for second in the league.  Also was second in the league in blocks with 1.5 swats per game.
