Outlook
An extremely talented player possessing GREAT size and athletic ability.  Even has the ability to run out of the SF spot for limited minutes.  Runs the floor as well as any big man out there.  Possesses NBA athletic ability.  Can score well around the basket and uses his quickness to easily go by players of his size.  Effective on the low block both getting to the rim and dunking with authority or utilizing a nice little touch to bank in close range jumpers.  Can put the ball on the floor much better than most players his size.  Has even spent some time at the small forward spot due to his mobility.  An excellent rebounder, continues to pursue the ball until the play is dead.  Will challenge all shots in the lane and can be a fantastic shot blocker if he puts his mind to it.  Fantastic upside and with continued progress could see himself playing in some of the best leagues worldwide.

Career

2008-09:  WON THE NBDL CHAMPIONSHIP with the Colorado 14'ers.  A great accomplishment  but the unfortunate part was that Jamar found himself on a team stockpiled with talent in the front court such as Josh Davis, Cheikh Samb (Nuggets) and James Mays.  With this type of talent upfront the struggle for playing time is always a reality.  But Jamar carved out minutes for himself through outstanding play.  Colorado finished the season with the league's best record.  Jamar had season highs of 18pts, 7rebs and 6 blocks vs Reno on Dec 14/08.  He went for a strong double double of 17pts, 14rebs vs Erie on Jan 27, 2009.  Also swatted 4 blks to go with 9 pts and 13rebs vs Albuquerque on April 7, 2009.  They captured the Championship by sweeping the Utah Flash 2-0.

2007-08:  Started the season in Spain with Avila but had to return home to mourn the passing of a family member.  Moved over to Toyama in Japanese BJ League.  Despite a year of great pressure for him he showed up and was a force on both ends of the court every night.  He was the missing piece for this team to make them competitive.  He lead the team in rebounds and was second in scoring despite being 4th on the team in shots attempted.  Had numerous double doubles and was just a few rebounds shy of posting an impressive double double on the season.

2006-07: Signed in Argentina with Atenas, moved over to Ben Hur but left Argentina at the Christmas break due to professional problems within the team.  Signed with Antalya in Turkey in January.  Went on a team and brought the team into the final four for promotion to the top league in Turkey.   Jamar lead the team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots.  At the conclusion of the Final Four playoffs Jamar found himself on the team sitting comfortably in first place and his team received their ticket to the top league through the promotion.  During the playoff run Jamar pushed his output and become a dominant force on both ends of the court.

2005-06:

Had a break out year in the CBA leading his team in rebounding and was also 7th in the league over all.  2nd on the team in scoring posting just under 13ppg.  Grabbed a season high 18rebs vs Idaho.  Played all 48 minutes in a loss to Sioux Falls and recorded 14pts and 10rebs 12/21/05.Led the team in FG% with a solid 53% from the field while also showing his durability recording a team high 35mpg.  Led the team in blocks and had a season high 5 swats on two separate occasions.

2004-05:

Played in the LNBP division in Mexico with La Ola.  Posted solid numbers leading his team in rebounding and was second on the team in scoring.
