Outlook
An excellent point guard who can shift over to the  shooting guard spot without problems.  With the ability to really score from beyond the 3pt line opponents have to stay honest, and his ball handling is excellent.  Looks to draw a lot of contact and still get to the rim to finish or pass off.  Has excellent vision and lays perfect passes down for team mates.  Has a stunning array of passing in his arsenal and will surprise teammates if they are not ready to handle a pass.  When lining up at the point spot he is capable to run an offense efficiently and directs other players well.  Plays great position defense.   A great work ethic he demands the same of all his teammates.  Will be an excellent Bosman addition to a team this season.  A very scrappy competitor he keeps his intensity at a high level right till the end of the game.

Career

2010:  Returned to his home city of Christchurch and is currently putting together arguably his best season ever.  He has really grown up on the court in the last season and is now in total control of his game which was a criticism early in his career.  Posting near career highs across the board in a season that saw a few injuries take away his teams playoffs hopes.  He stepped up to that challenge and became the go to guy and even moved at times to the SG spot as he has a great stroke from the 3 pt line.  As he has really learned to be a facilitator for the offense he has recorded a season high of only 28pts while showing his PG mentality with 4.3apg.  Dished out a season high 8 assists vs Manawatu on 4/1/10.  Drilled 3-4 from 3pt land in the same game and also recorded a whopping 7 steals.

2009: Signed at the East LPG Bay Hawks of the New Zealand Basketball LeagueStepped into a new role from the one he enjoyed in Christchurch.  Worked his way into the starting line up and immediately the team saw results.  He was 9th in the league and lead his team in assits with 3.2apg.  Chimed in with instance offense in only 21mpg of playing time by recording just over 10ppg in that time.  Scored a season high 21pts against his former team Christchurch in a fantastic 5pt win 86-81 on 6/6/9.  Shot a scorching 3-4 from the 3pt line in that game while handing out 7 assists.  All this in only 21minutes in that game!! Fueled his team to a season end burst allowing them to qualify and take the 6th seed.  In that game against Wellington Jeremy played only 18min but recorded 10pts, 4rebs and 3 assists.  Perhaps the biggest problem wtih his season this year is that he did not play enough!

2007-08: Signed back to the Canterbury Rams of the New Zealand Basketball League where he had an outstanding season giving the team league leading numbers in steals and was in the top 3 in several other categories.  At the conclusion of the NZL season Jeremy signed back into the Australian NBL with the Wollongong Hawks where he found a nice role as their back up PG. Did have some outstanding performances but again has not found his place as a staring PG in that league to really show everybody what he can do as a starter.

2006-07:

Expected to have a BREAKOUT season in the New Zealand Basketball League in 2006 and has not dissapointed.  Will easily be named the most improved player in the league.  Currently 2nd on the team and 16th in the league in scoring, 8th in the leauge in FG% with a fantastic 54% at the guard spot!  8th in the league in assists, 1st in the league in steals,  and ranks as one of the leagues most productive players.....went for a season high 30pts against current champs Auckland on 28/4/06 to go along with 4rebs, 5assists and 5 steals hitting 3/6 from the 3pt line....most recently scored 26pts in a huge victory vs Taranaki on 11/05/06.  His improvement and play has been nothing short of INCREDIBLE.  Was worked out by the NZ Breakers whom play out of the Australian league. Finally signed with the Singapore Slingers also out of the Australian league where he was able to take his game to the next level while gaining invaluable experience in the tougher and more competitive Aussie NBL.  Saw limited minutes but made the most of his time there while still giving the team consistent minutes off the bench.

2005:

Became the heir apparent for the future of the Canterbury Rams while seeing limited action behind an American import at the PG spot.  Was there to learn more after being thrust to the forefront a season prior.  Played only 11 minutes per game but still managed to average more than 1 steal per contest...shot a solid 40% from the 3pt area and continuted his development as he learned the ropes to handle the helm for the Rams for seasons to come.

2004:

Was handed the reins as the PG of the future for Canterbury....perhaps a season too early as he was just 20 years old.  Learned alot and showed his continued development all season while showing flashes of brilliance.
