Outlook
The type of player who does whatever the team needs.  A real versatile player that can step into almost any position and get it done.  During his college and pro career he has lined up at EVERY position including the pg spot for some minutes in a pinch.  Can focus on and dominate any statistical category depending on the needs of his team.  Easily able to defend bigger or smaller opponents while using his advantages to cause serious match up problems.  Is a above average passer and if you give him the ball at the high post he will cause a ton of problems.  Great a slashing to the hoop and elevating to finish but also possess a good 3pt touch and can shoot it well if asked to.  Quite athletic but uses a combination of that and a high basketball IQ to frustrate opponents.  Is a good team person and brings an attitude of winning into any situation.

Career

2009-10:  Signed wtih Assis Basket in the top league of Brazil.

2008-09:  Started the season in Chile where he is so well known.  Was brought down there to basically save the team and keep them competitive.  Again showed why he is the class of the league.  During the weekend of round 4 of that league on Sept 14 John had a monster weekend recording a Friday night effort of 34pts and then followed that up with an eye popping 52 pts in a victory vs Espanol de Talca.  That game was a back and forth afair and saw John drop 17pts in the 4th quarter to seal the victory.   At the conclusion of that season he signed for the LPG Easy Hawks of the New Zealand Basketball League.  He started the season well but when the team found itself beset by injuries John elected to leave to make way for another domestic player.  Despite being 3rd in minutes played on the team he ended up leading the team in scoring, defensive rebounding, 3pt%, blocked shots and was second in steals!  Ranked 15th over all in the league in scoring, 11th in the league in 3pt % at 42.2%

2006-07: Signed with Llanquihue of the Dimayor league in Chile and promptly made his mark by leading the league in scoring and being in the top 8 in rebounds and steals. Showed his all around game and his perimeter prowess establishing himself as a legit threat beyond the 3pt line.  After the close of that league signed for the rest of the regular season and playoffs for Team Componenta of the Finnish top league.  Unfortunately the coach was using a 12 man rotation and John only saw limited minutes in his foray back into Europe.

2005-06:  John signed with USC Friberg out of Ger 2 Bundesliga and again showed himself to be a double double threat every night.  Went for a season high 32pts vs Heidelberg during the 28th game of the league.  Along with that fantastic output was extremely efficient draining 4-5 behind the 3 pt line.  Grabbed a season high 16rebs vs Chemintz to match his career high.  Recorded a very respectable 17 double doubles on the season.

2004-05. In his first season out of school Thomas became an instant success in Holland showing that he had the toughness and athletic ability to be a double double warrior averaging 15ppg and a team high 10rpg over the course of the season.  Teamed with another B3 client in Sam Jones to take Tulip Den Bosch to the playoffs.  Unfortunately were upset in the first round but had a fantastic regular season and made his mark on the European basketball landscape.
