Outlook
A player possessing an extremely high basketball IQ.  Great outside shooting touch that make teams pay if he gets a clean look.  Can put it on the floor, and is a great passer.  Has the ability to play any of the backcourt spots and also move to the small forward position.  Possesses deep range out past the NBA three point line.  Maurice  is the ultimate team player to make everybody else around him better.  He is an underrated defender who often will shut down the opposing team's best player.  Operates like a second point guard on the floor setting everything up for easy finishes for his teammates and then scoring when necessary.  Inspiring leader that is a "do everything" player on the court.

Career

2009-10: Resigned with LTi Gießen 46ers in October.

2008-09:

Joined LTi Gießen 46ers of the German Bundesliga and quickly made himself known in the league.  A very consistent performer all season.  Had a season high 21pts to go along with 5 rebs in a great game vs Frankfurt that also saw him drain 4-7 from 3pt land on 12/20/2008.  Grabbed a season high 10rebs vs Trier on 10/6/08.  Was second on the team in scoring but unfortunately his season came to an end in March when he fractured his hand and was gone for the remaining part of the season.

2007-08:

(Foto: Stefan Weisbrod)Had another solid campaign on a very well balanced LEB gold side in Leche Rio Breogan.  Shot a red hot 42% from the 3 pt line on the season while being one of 3 players on the team to average double figures.  Second on the team in steals and also ranked 3rd on team on rebounds with 3.7rpg.  Took the team into the LEB Gold semi final playoffs but did not reach the goal of promotion to the ACB.

2006-07:

Signed with Plus Pujol LLeida in LEB Gold and quickly established himself again as one of the premiere SF/SG in the league.  Averaged 13.3ppg which lead the team in scoring and also was second on the team in minutes played.  Consistent play led the team into the playoffs after a season of financial frustrations which impacted all of the players performance.

2005-06:

Signed with CB L'Hospitalet and had another FANTASTIC season leading the team in scoring at 15ppg.  Also chipped in a very solid 4.4 rpg from the back court.  For his efforts at L'Hospitalet that season he was named to the Eurobasket All-Spanish LEB1 second team.

2004-05:
A dominant performance all season long for Jeffers at Leon Caja Espana where he rung up 15.4ppg  while shooting again a great 38% from 3pt range.  Showed his muscle on the glass and ripped down 5.7rpg to be second on the team in scoring and lead the team to the LEB1 semi-finals. Was recognized that season by being named to the Eurobasket All-Spanish LEB1 2nd team to go along with also being named to the Eurobasket Spanish All Imports team.

2003-04:

Played for WTC Cornella of LEB Silver.
