2010-11: Signed with Riga which a top team in Latvia where he had a fantastic preseason and was ready for the real season. The coach at the time completely changed his ideas of how the team should be run and Sanders did not figure well into that plan as his minutes went right down and subsequently was released. Immediately was picked up by the Sydney Kings in the NBL in Australia where he put together a very solid individual season. Dealing with a first year coach made the season very difficult but Sanders still excelled on the team. Second on the team in scoring at 13.3ppg he also showed his prowess from downtown with a mark of 39% from the 3pt line.
2009-10: Nursing some injuries kept him out of the start of the season but eventually signed with Amsterdam and began his play with them in January. Paid immediate dividends to the team as he helped them qualify to the Finals of the Dutch Cup before bowing out in that championship game. In that game he lead the team with 15pts but it was not enough as they were defeated by Leiden. Ranked 2nd on the team in scoring and also ninth in the league with a mark of 14.8ppg. Combine that with an amazing 1.1bpg which put him as the 5th leading shot blocker in the league! An amazing combination of talents are spelled out by that stat line. Also was 3rd on the team in rebounds at 4.6rpg.
2008-09: Signed in the D league with the Iowa Energy and put together a fantastic rookie season there. Played in 41 games and was a starter in 36 of those games. He averaged 13.9pts, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists, while shooting .417 percent from the 3 point line, in 30.7 minutes of playing time per game. On January 22, 2009, he broke the Iowa Energy franchise scoring record by tallying 43pts and 5 rebounds in a double overtime victory against the Dakota Wizards. On February 16, 2009, he had a perfect shooting performance against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants inking 11-11 from the field for 29pts, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
