|
2010-11: Signed with Hyeres-Toulon of France ProA.
2009-10: Resigned with Netanya for the 2009-10 season. Named Had a fantastic overall season leading his team into the FINAL 4 of the Israel Premiere League. Ranked as the 5th leading scorer in the league he was rewarded by being named Eurobasket All-Israel Honorable mention team. Recorded a season high 34pts vs European basketball giant Macabbi Tel Aviv. See film above. After that Tony jumped on board in the Philippines where he was unstoppable leading them back from 2-1 down in the quarterfinals to a 3-2 series victory capping that with a 49pt, 6-9 3pt shooting display.
2008-09: Signed with Nahariya of the top league in Israel. After several months of money trouble several players left the team Greg Brunner, Aron McGhee and Tony. Tony post solid numbers in an offense designed for the interior players but had to move to Netanya where he again showed why he has been the MVP of the National League before. Quickly assumed the leadership roll on the team as the steered towards a perfect season. Contributed a team best 19.9ppg and ranked among the league leaders in every statistical category. Playoff time is when he REALLY turned it on averaging better than 30.1ppg in the playoffs while doing everything to push the team to the championship. That is exactly what he did and captured the National League Championship while being named playoff MVP and moving the team into the Premier League!
2007-08: WON THE ISRAELI CHAMPIONSHIP!! Was a part of one of the strongest teams in recent memory in the Israeli competition and did not get a lot of playing time. However he did rise to the occasion and when given the role as a starter in the championship final 4 Tony scored 19pts to go along with 7 rebs, 1blk and 1 assist to push Holon to a finals showdown vs Tel Aviv which Tony and Holon ultimately won.
2006-07: SIGNED Hapoel Holon - Israel National League. And took up exactly where he left off last season. A hotly pursued commodity in that league Tony landed with Hapoel who were immediately favored for promotion as soon as it was know he was the import. He led the league in scoring while shooing 38% from deep, corralling 10+rpg and dishing out more than 3apg. Had his team in first place( 24-2) all season to bring his team into the top division. He had a season high of 49pts to go along with 15res, 6 steals and 4 assists vs Elizur Ramla (2/27/07) which was only 1 point shy of the league record. Came 3 assists short of a triple double vs Macabbi Ashdod (11/14/2006) when he recorded an astounding 38pts, 17rebs, 7 assists and 4 steals. Scored in double figures EVERY GAME this season. Led his team into the playoffs and then captured the Championship. Named the league MVP, Player of the year, Forward of the year and First team all-league.
2005-06: Tony led his team to a fantastic season but it ended in heartbreak as they did not win the championship to promotion to the top league. He lead his team in scoring, rebounding, blocks and steals and was second in assists. He was also among the league leaders in those same categories. He has shown a fantastic array of talent and has had some breakout games this season.....scored a season high 43pts on 7-11 3pt shooting against Maccabi Petah Tikva on 1/31/06,.....poured in 35pts against Hapoel on 3/29/06 to go along with 7rebs......dropped 30 pts and 10 rebounds to lead his team past Hapoel Lev Hasharon on 12/20/05 to restart his teams win streak after already being on an 8 game win streak.
2002-05: Simply put he did EVERYTHING. 3 time All-American.....AMC North Player of the year.....Holds almost EVERY major statistical category record in St.Vincent's history....drew considerable NBA interest most noteably from the Jazz and the Nets. Washam finished his career at St. Vincent with 2,747 points. That is only because he broke his hand for a portion of last season missing about 10 games. Had he been healthy, he most certainly would have broken the 3,000 point plateau! |
