Jason Forte - Man on a Mission

Looking for the spectacular?  Look no further than Mures in the top league in Romania.  There you will find Jason Forte flying around courts and imposing his will on everyone.  For the second season in a row he is suiting up for the first division side and leading them in scoring.  After a great season last year his team knew that Jason was the backbone of the team and any chance they had at winning the championship would rest on his shoulders for this new season. 

During the off season as the team waited for Jason to deliberate coming back to Romania, he received the call to return to the Philippians and ply his craft some more.  Under the guidance of Coach Tim Cone, Jason Forte EXPLODED for the Alaska Aces.  He posted some phenomenal stats and by the end of the season he contested the Player of the Year honors with one other import in the league.  His versatility was seen in the fact that he won the rebounding title and was second in the league in scoring.  To put the exclamation point on his performance he was also ranked 5th in blocked shots!  When the season starts again this year in the Philippians you can be sure that Forte's name will be thrown around to many a team.

Currently Jason and Mures are battling in the standings in the third position.  After a great season last year there is no question that the only thing that would be acceptable is the championship.  If they keep the ball in Fortes' hands that is exactly what they are going to get!  Stay tuned.  Good Luck for the rest of the season Jason!
